I’m loving this! It’s even more epic than the first volume. The action is intense. Can’t wait for more!

two is more of the same with ramped up action
Feels like the art fell off just a little bit, but a very little bit. Still an intriguing package over all.

I decided to read both issues before leaving a review. Here are my thoughts so far:
Story
-I found the conflict believable. There actually was a similar movement in real life called romanticism (the American equivalent is transcendentalism) where people criticized the industrial revolution and emphasized returning to nature. Since witches are historically associated with nature, it makes sense that they’d be in conflict with an increasingly technological world.
I don’t know if the romanticism vs industrial revolution allegory was intentional, but I love how you came up with a premise that was both believable and original.
-The pacing was pretty good and the action flowed well.
-Writing is good for the most part. Although, I did notice a couple of spelling and grammar errors.
Characters
Hazel: Hazel is a fun and likable protagonist. She strikes a nice balance between comic relief and action hero. I like how she’s also an intelligent character and knows how to apply her knowledge to different situations.
Silverman: Silverman is another fun character and shares a great buddy cop dynamic with Hazel. I’m looking forward to learning more about why he became so rough around the edges.
Kiano: Kiano has an interesting backstory and it was nice to see him get more characterization in this issue.
Villains: Odyssey seems like a pretty standard evil leader, but his underlings have charisma and fun powers. It’ll be cool to see Hazel and Silverman face off against Shiki and Kiki at some point.
Ngl, I kinda wanna see more of the male cop that brought Hazel to the police station. He’s handsome~.
Overall, I thought that most of the characters’ base characterizations were off to a strong start. I’m looking forward to seeing them develop in the future.
Art
The art is fine and every character is well designed. I think the art style will look much more vibrant once it’s in color.
Overall
I think the series has a lot of potential and I’m looking forward to issue number three. Keep up the great work!
